Book and blog reviews for savvy entrepreneurs

By Diane K. Danielson
How to Work a Room

How to Work a Room: Your Essential Guide to Savvy Socializing is an updated version of Susan RoAne’s classic best-seller. Throughout, she shares some great tips like “If you can tell someone is working a room, that person is doing it wrong!” And covers everything from “working the reunion” and “working an audience” to “working the techno-toy room.” Most of the updates seem to be in the techno-toy and also in chapter 5 which is a good overview of the different ways to network online.

The Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a networking etiquette book, this one is fun and approachable.
